Message from Our Pastor for 2025
Dear Beloved Family in Christ,
Grace and peace to you from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! I, Pastor James M. Hawkins Sr., am deeply honored to share my heart with you as we continue this journey of faith, growth, and renewal together as a church community.
Fresh Start Church is more than a place of worship—it is a divine movement, a beacon of hope, and a testimony to God’s power to transform lives. Each one of you is a vital part of that movement. Together, we stand as living proof that, all things are possible with God, and that new beginnings are always within reach for those who trust in Him.
The Word of God tells us in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?” This is a promise that resonates deeply with our mission as a church family. God is calling us to be agents of change, to break chains, heal wounds, and spread His love far and wide. Each worship service, outreach effort, and prayer we lift is a part of this divine “new thing” God is doing in and through us.
As we look to 2025, God is telling Fresh Start Church to expand our reach and deepen our impact in the world. This year, we will focus on growing spiritually, increasing community outreach, and building ministries that meet the needs of every generation. We envision a church that equips disciples to serve boldly, families strengthened by faith, and a community transformed by the love of Christ
Our spiritual theme for 2025 is, “With God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Let this truth be our banner as we step forward, trusting in His limitless power to bring His vision to life. Together, we will see miracles, witness lives transformed, and give God the glory for all He is doing in and through us.
